Sync your library
Sync your movie and show libraries and resolve each title to a TMDB id so artwork providers can be queried accurately.
PosterPilot is a self-hosted web app that browses a media library (Plex, Jellyfin, or Emby — one active at a time), finds artwork covers across multiple providers, and applies a chosen cover to your media server — directly via its API and/or by exporting Kometa/PMM-compatible YAML. It runs as a single Docker container on a Mac or on an Unraid server.
A guided first-install wizard walks you from picking a language through connecting your server, TMDB key, and providers, choosing libraries, and a first sync — and for Plex it includes a PIN login and connection discovery so you never have to hunt down a token or URL.

Find covers
Fan out across enabled providers — MediUX, Fanart.tv, TMDB, and ThePosterDB — and compare poster and background candidates grouped by provider and set. Use a whole set, mix pieces across providers, or assemble a custom set from a pasted URL or an uploaded file.
Apply covers
Apply a chosen cover via the media-server API (uploads and locks the field, instantly) and/or via a Kometa YAML export that your Kometa instance consumes on its next run.
Stay localized
The UI ships in English, Spanish, Simplified Chinese, Japanese, and Brazilian Portuguese, with per-key English fallback — managed through Weblate.
Library-wide work runs as background jobs with live progress over Server-Sent Events, shown right on the Dashboard. A granular Activity log (Settings → Activity) and a rotating file log record every operational event, and an update checker with a “What’s New” modal surfaces new releases.
